We get Miller. Harris is somehow convinced and agrees to being redshirted in 2015. He dedicates himself to developing both physically and mentally during the redshirt year.

Miller is our starter in 2015 and has a great season with Jennings as the #2 and McMillan as #3.

Then in 2016, Harris has 3 full years to be the guy and we finally get some experience and stability at the QB position.

Ok, that was a fun trip to fantasy land. I'm back now

I mean...I doubt Harris would RS, but that would be the best case scenario

I'm glad I'm not the only denizen of Fantasy Island. I had this exact thought this morning. One can dream!

Yeah, it'll never happen, but that would be nice.

Whether he would agree or that it would be a good thing?

I can't imagine anyone would doubt that if he RS and got time to develop he'd be an all around beast from then on out.

Either way, Harris is awesome and should have gotten much more PT last season, but a season of growth without the constant stress and scrutiny of a QB controversy would help him for the rest of his career.

harris wants to be on the field. if he can't do that at LSU, I would assume he would find another place to play.

I would welcome Braxton Miller in a heartbeat however If harris proves to be the second best QB on the roster going into 2015 I wouldn't redshirt him. Give the kid playing time and have him ready for 2016.

Why would we continue to give Jennings practice reps and game experience if he's not the present or future QB?

Jennings should transfer and Brandon Harris should have been given the playing time...period...Braxton and Harris compete in the spring best man wins...

I'm BH all the way but it's not like RS is so horrible or unheard of.

All this talk of adding OSU QBs is a little obnoxious to me. First, LSU recruits Harris then lets Jennings start. Harris has ONE bad game (Auburn) and then doesn't play much for the rest of the year. Jennings has several mediocre games and they leave in. I just wonder if Harris's weaknesses are stronger than Jennings' "strengths." Putting Harris in a redshirt role next year will not only be de-motivating to him, but Miles will lose any credibility he has left and a QB who may have unlimited potential to bail Miles out of the seemingly-sinking ship that is now the offense. If Miles was to "let the stallion out of the pen and let him run the field," the results might have been detrimental, but with training and taming, there could be some very good results in the long run. Again, though, I don't see any good in sitting Harris down another year.

Why would we redshirt Harris? If we were to get Miller we'd still have 2 years out of Harris with Franks and hopefully Patterson coming in behind him

If Harris redshirts next year and comes into his own the following year--her might forego his senior year and bolt for the NFL. Don't count on "two years" if he redshirts next year. And possibly--it is not safe to even count on any if he redshirts.

Just trying to lighten up this place..it's a uptight, impatient, and negative vibe right now.
