Is there some hidden baggage with Orgeron?

Seems like most here cannot understand why we won't go after him. He seems like he has the recruiting expertise we can always use.

There is one opening and that is DC, we don't like him as a DC.
1) he has never been a DC, he may have called the defense but he had the title HC when he did that.
2) Ole miss kinda sucked under him
I don't think the people who are making these decisions believes he has what it takes to be a DC in the SEC. But he would make a good DL coach and a good recruiter which is why is name is being tossed around so much.

Can we agree that Muschamp is a good maybe great DC? If so, Florida sucked under him other than one year. They easily could have lost 2 or 3 more games that year.

We can agree that Muschamp is a great DC? Yes. Based on his 11 years of experience at that position compared to Orgeron's 0 years.

Muschamp has over a decade of experience as a DC and Orgeron has none. Muschamp might have been a bad head coach, but his team still had an elite defense. Orgeron's Ole Miss teams had terrible defenses.
