During the mad rushes of folks trying to find:

.22
.40
.45
9mm
.223/5.56

Shotgun ammo was on the shelves and internet, galore.
-Was there tactical 12 ga that was being bought instead?
-Did the buyers/hoarders/re-sellers never see the value in it?
-Is the fact that you can stash way more rifle/pistol ubullets than 12 ga make it that more attractive?

Just asking.

Rounds desired more by the gun culture hoarding crazies.

Shotgun ammo bought at a higher percentage by hunters who care not about shooting unless it's at game.

.410 is still a bit hard to come by. My guess on the other gauges is that bird shot was overlooked by the panic buyers fearing the zombie hordes.

Yep, but I'm having a hard time finding 3" #4 steel shot. Frickin' duck hunters.

That makes a little sense. Stores do not want to have much left over, as it's not in high demand after the season. I generally don't hunt until late season, and I have very little choice if I have to buy new shells.

shoot #2s or BBs. Better knockdown power on waterfowl. Just gotta hit 'em.

40 and 45 was not hard to find. Every store in my area had tons of it.

9 mm, 22, and 223/5.56 was mostly the calibers where it was tough to find ammo for.

I wonder if gun control activists call each other 'nutjobs' or 'crazies?'

Saw one of the gun nut shows last night that pretty much established this.
