I usually use conecuh sausage for my jambalaya, but I'm looking for a new brand to try out.
What kind do yall use? Looking to branch out a little. I'm

I figured there would be plenty of places that make better sausage for jambalaya than conecuh... Connecuh is made in Alabama and we are not even known for Cajun food

Veron's. Can't remember where it's based out if, but really good
Edited: I think it's from Gramercy

With all the choices up and down the bayou your choice is gumpland's best??
For bayou sausage, Vinnie's in Labadiville is pretty good. I'm sure
that there are others too. I'm partial to the Acadia/Evangeline/St Landry parish styles like Teets, T-boy's and Kartchner's.

Used to be. Not anymore. It's made in Gonzales now.

Borque's is good. I also like kartchners (Krotz springs) & t-boys (mamou) when I'm in the area.
Where at you located?

I like Double D.
Verons Market is in Lutcher. The Veron's mass marketed brand is someplace else and not as good.

Teet's is in Ville Platte that's only an hour south of Alex. And I'm sure there is something in between.

Drive to cottonport and go to T-Jim's. Get some hog head cheese while you're there.

I generally use one of either Verona's, martin's, or Richards

I've used Vinnie's in Labadieville, and it's very good, plus the sandwich shop is impossible to pass up.
Tee-Wayne's in Gonzales is very good too.
If I'm buying at the grocery store I usually pick up Veron's, Martin's, or Big Easy. The local one's I haven't been a huge fan of are Jambalaya Shoppe, and French Settlement.

I use Veron from Veron's Supermarket in Lutcher. They make it the original way. If you are near, they are across from Lutcher High School.

Jump on I49 South, take the Ville Platte exit....swing a cat, you will hit good sausage-seriously.
I suggest Paul's Mest Market or T-Boys in Mamou but any place you stop will rival whatever you have been using.
