Why did we never talk to the 4 star DE Hendrix who left Tennessee after his true freshman season? He was the #7 SDE at 6'5 254.

No, I'm looking at the notion that Hunter is likely gone, giving us three DEs. We have one DE in this class and are only in the mix for one more DE. That's 5 DES at the most, with 2 true freshman that will need to redshirt.
Maybe Herron slides back over to DE, but we are still really thin at that position.
What I'm saying doesn't have anything to do with only 8 wins.
