Been searching through a lot of apartments/condos recently looking for something relatively updated and nice that's not student living. Ideally somewhere generally near the mid-city area

Any recommendations?

In my experience it's almost cheaper to rent a house.

Price range?

Look for a place in mid-city.

My parents are selling their condo on Christian street where I10 crosses over perkins. If you enjoy st Patrick's day it's a good location.

It's spanish for "the cid", so it's gotta be classy.

Tons of irritating frat stars and sorositutes living there. They should really stop rentals to these types as they have no respect for property nor consideration for other residents.

I know, I know, stay off my lawn.

I lived at Mansions in the Park when I first moved to BR back in 2008 and they were pretty nice. Not a bad commute to campus either.

Direct TV had that on as their free movie this weekend.

I was imagining Charlton Heston at that complex.

Friends of mine live at The Gates on Corporate. It's not bad at all. Not sure what the rent is, but he has his own garage and a pretty roomy apartment.

There was a place called the Patrician where I lived long ago. It's older, but it is near mid city if that's what you are into.

You can probably rent a nice place in Beauregard Town or Spanish Town if work downtown. There are some apartments on Main near 4th that just came up.
