Dude is gonna shite the bed in another playoff game, and has hitched his wagon to Andy Dalton.

Time for the Bengals to move on from Marvin

I think it would be a dumb move and he would get another gig

Fire the GM for locking up Dalton long term.

Lewis is a decent coach, but sometimes coaches just need a fresh start, and especially in the NFL their message gets stale with the players.

I think it's time for a change. Lewis isn't the problem, but he's been there too long. Team needs a new energy. And they need a good QB, which won't be had in this next draft.

Jim Mora hopes not. Lewis is the only one in range to catch Mora as the coach with the most regular season wins with no playoff wins.

This is where I'm at, at this point. I like Marvin, but somehow this team, with all the talent they have, can't win a playoff game. Maybe a new regime will help.

I think this is an overreaction. On the road against Indy and the injuries to Green, Gresham, etc. Dalton wasn't missing throws, he had nobody to throw to.

Marvin consistently has this team good enough to contend. This is a team that was a laughingstock on par with the Raiders and Jags before he got there. He's a proven winner and a top 10 coach. The playoffs are way too flukey and too small a sample size by which to judge a coach. Firing him would be a mistake IMO.

It's not that he sucks, maybe both parties just need fresh starts.

I like Marvin Lewis. He's a good coach, but it's time for the Bengals to move on from him. He needs a fresh start. Not like they'll be any better than a Wild Card team with him.

It's time for both to move on.

They lost 2 of their best coaches last year in Jay Gruden & Mike Zimmer.

There is good talent on that roster but I think some new blood at the head coaching spot would give them some life.

That's a tough one. I'd hate to be the GM to have to make that decision.

i hate to play this card but marvin lewis still has a job because hes black

the NFL takes a ton of heat for minority coaches and everytime hes been under fire you hear the pundits talk about lack of diversity and minority coaches and how lewis has paved the way

if he was an average white dude he would have been gone a long time ago.

I don't think this is true at all. Marvin is a good coach, but it seems that something just isn't working to get Cincy over the hump when playoff season starts.
Mike Brown does not make changes often and Marvin has been the best thing to hit Cincy since he arrived. With that said, it might be time for a change for both parties.

Perhaps Saban is ready to try again. Quality offense and defense, wouldn't have to rebuild at all.

Andy Dalton is a 2 ton anchor around the neck of Marvin Lewis.
