Well golly you read them and make a informed opinion on them. What we all have been trying to tell you is that your not well informed on the subject and few that you read in the MSM are.
They are lazy and just put out est numbers heading into the 2015 season that show zero changes ie cuts and resructures.

What I'm trying to tell you is that it is widely regarded that the Saints have one of the worst cap situations in the league right now, and has been for a while. I have no doubt that others here have more knowledge on the ins and outs of the cap than I do, but I also think plenty of assumptions have been made. I am more apt to believe an unbiased agent over people who do this for fun. That being said, I hope I'm wrong

Because people are lazy, don't do the research, and don't understand the cap.

How about you actually read the article you linked? If you had you would see that CURRENTLY we are in a bad spot but then lists about 10 ways we can get under the cap.
That's exactly what Mickey and I and others are saying. Currently we are over but once adjustments are made we'll be more than fine.

Anything outside of cuts/pay cuts is almost a given. Cuts/pay cuts will depend on how we want to approach our roster. The rest of the stuff is built in house cleaning to avoid guarantees up front.
