Can I buy an AT&T Go Phone and add it my post paid account?

Or will AT&T block the IMEI?
Needing a phone for a relative for emergencies and don't want to sign a contract. Plus, if I bring my own phone I can add it for $15 per month which is cheaper than prepaid. If I sign a contract that jumps tp $25 per month plus having to pay the subsidized phone.

Yes you can or at least you could 3 years ago. My sister in law bought a cheap one after her phone was broken and just popped in the sim card.

Yes, 3 of the phones on my Mobil Share plan were purchased as Go Phones.
