What's it like? It looks cool on tv how the sun shines down on the whole field & the stadium is equal heighth all the way around in a complete bowl. I just looked it up & was surprised to see that it holds 92,000. I thought it looked smaller than that. Is it one of those kind of stadiums where there isn't a bad seat anywhere?

I wonder if they ever fixed the structural issues. The place is literally built on a fault...

I went for a UCLA game so the atmosphere isn't comparable toa Big time rose bowl game. But it is beautiful. And no there are no bad seats unless you are very low but those are bad seats in any stadium.

Maybe the most overrated stadiums. Tailgating on a golf course is cool. The stadium itself is lame, no character inside. When I went there was literally a chain linked dense that separated the away crowd from the home crowd. Was very disappointed.

went last year to the BCSNC, gorgeous inside the stadium, not a bad seat in the house..outside there`s literally nothing and make sure you don`t have to piss during the game, they decided they really don`t need bathrooms.

Cool stadium, but the very flat bowl that allows 92,000 people and good field illumination so long as the sun is still above the San Gabriel mountains also makes for a lot of sound escaping the stadium and distant sight lines for the furthest seats. The facilities are also lacking for a modern stadium as much of the concessions are in trailers on the promenade around the stadium and the bathroom lines get insanely long.

Went last year when we played FSU. Is OK. It was fun to go there after all the years. But, there are a lot of issues with it. The layout sucks. The bathrooms and concession is out of the stadium and it takes a while to get to them. Its is very slow getting out of after the game. The aisles are small for so many people

It is basically in the middle of a subdivision so getting out of there after a game totally sucks

But, it is in a beautiful setting and the weather rocks.

It was renovated in the off season, so if you haven't been this season it is different. More bathrooms, more concessions etc. However, tailgating is ok during the season but sucks for Rose Bowl games.

Went to the UCLA-Arizona game this year. Beautiful stadium and location. Did not look to be a bad seat in the stadium.

PAC-12 atmosphere is not in the same galaxy as SEC though.

No, but I would love to see a game there. My cousins were there for the USC Texas national championship and said it was beautiful

Stadium itself is a pit. It's still absolutely worth it to go for the atmosphere of a Rose Bowl Game. Absolutely not for 40K people at a UCLA game.

After the renovations it is an absolute gem. People saying otherwise haven't been there recently or just don't know what they're talking about. During a huge game, there's nothing like it

Seats seem to go back forever. It's a beautiful old building. Weather always great around there too. IMO it's easily the best setting in all of football. Something about the San Gabriel mountains and bright sunshine just makes everything look so much more vibrant.

I feel unAmerican for agreeing with this.
I will say from my seat last year I watched it get dark over the mountains.so yea.that was pretty cool. We were lucky enough to park at the country club nearby and walk.but literally.nothing there but houses and a few bridges.

and the stadium is deep and old.(insert mom joke here)

been a couple times amd was there Thursday. It is unique in its own right. Intimate setting and beautiful. Much better than being crammed in a nose bleed Superdome atmosphere, imo.

Saw Cowboys/Bills in Super Bowl with my dad (RIP). Great setting and atmosphere, but stadium itself was meh. Glad to hear they have upgraded.
