He should be a composite 5 star, but that would be too much like right. Would boost our ranking too much.

#1 APB in the country is what he should be.

He could move up a few spots. Don't think he sees a huge jump, but he could considering how he performed playing a different position.

But he's def getting the national recognition he deserved in the past. So he could move up a lot. No idea.

But IMO he's the #1 RB in the country. There isn't a LF type or back that is clearly better than the rest this year. And Guice is just as good or better than the guys ahead of him.

I was wondering why the 247 guy was all over Phillips moving up to a 5, but didn't even mention that for Guice, even though it was after his second score.

Yeah, the performance in a National setting, at a different position, will jump him up...These things are about projections, and he's less of a miss for them...

He's already a 5 star on 247....right?

Eta: just looked it up. 4 star on 247, 8th best rb kn the country is laughable

247 doesn't have any running backs that are 5 stars...very strange

He's already 5* on Rivals and just won MVP playing out of position. I believe he's around ~50 on 247 and that's mostly based on his running ability. If he didn't just prove that he is the #1 APB...not much more the kid can do. All final rankings are usually adjusted to add the last few 5*'s which usually come from the AS game performances.

My guess would be that he gets to 5* on 247 but probably won't get there on ESPN. Too far to climb from 118. It really doesn't matter because he just showed everyone how good he is and we all know that the rankings are biased.

Jackson showed out too and should move up some too. It's more difficult for a DB to make a big jump especially in an AS game. He's fast and fluid and got his name mentioned during the game.

Dillon looked good in today's game and Charlot looked good in yesterdays game. I hope we get both.

Not laughable, just bullshite. Harris is the only guy I would consider over him at RB.

No, since he is not a Bama commitment. He will likely remain a 4-Star.

Just the fact that the best athlete plays RB on 50% of the teams in the country usually leads to 2-4 5* RBs every year. Definitely strange

Him and fournette have excellent hands comin out of the backfield. Really, it's criminal for LSU to have no passing game with all the top pass catching talent they have. No other team in the country has WR's, TE's and RB's that can catch like that. A damn shame!
