How does CHS respond to the Guice punch?

It looked like the DB instigated it and Guice was defending himself and then got caught up in the moment. I went to catholic and sometimes the school can overreact. Think he gets in big trouble?

Probably not...but it wouldn't surprise me either. They have suspended people for much less before

Yeah well then they won't get some nice donations from him once he goes pro

I've never understood high schools disciplining students for actions that take place outside of school.

From people I know that went to catholic, they do this all the time.

I went there too and was thinking the same exact thing. The current disciplinarian is a POS

Catholic sometimes forgets it is just a high school and nothing more.

Seriously . . . Organizations like CHS that pride themselves on developing leaders will always hold their people to higher standard as they should.
This prepares them for when they enter the professional world. Where stupid actions and lack of judgement away from job may affect their careers and ability to effectively lead others.

As an alum you are told you represent CHS 24/7/365. Prolly just a bit of cafeteria duty is all he will get, especially if it is a first offense.

The incident was minor so should be the consequences ...

Couldn't have said it better myself. You're considered a representative of the school 24/7, just like you'd be considered a representative of a company who hired you. With all that being said, I'd be very surprised if he was disciplined for that, although I don't know the current disciplinarian.

Actually it's more than just a high school. If it was just a high school then it would be run by EBR school system.
Most of the parents that send their kids there see the value in sending their kids that will reinforce the same moral principles that are taught in their homes.
I don't believe morals and ethics can be taught in the public schools in today's politically correct world.

100 percent agree. Personally, I don't think he did a horrible thing, but it's a good learning experience for Guice. Especially if he wants to play in the NFL...they are not afraid to discipline you for negative behavior.

I work in the public school system, where morals and ethics are considered mythology.

Any one complaining about Catholic's discipline plan can go to school somewhere else.
