Marksville Fishing Recommendations

Have fished Spring bayou areas and Smith Bay in Grassy Lake WMA. Fish out of kayaks. I've looked at Google earth and there are so many lakes and bayous.Just looking to go old school fishing with crickets,worms,etc. The house that i have is about a mile from Wal Mart for reference. Appreciate any help.
