Moscona already said that Braxton is out bc of sec rule.

Are there any other transfer/juco possibilities still out there?

REC won't allow LSU to get a competent transfer QB.

Les needs to give Harris a shot, if not, I think it will be a major struggle. Hopefully we don't lose much on the O Line

He said that he spoke to someone at the SEC Front Office and transferring into the SEC you are still required to have 2 years of eligibility. Which makes Miller ineligible, however I have heard that he is looking at transferring to Oregon.

So what allowed the Oregon QB to play at OM in '10?

Massoli already earned his undergrad at Oregon and transferred to OM for graduate program they didn't offer at Oregon.

I am still on the Jennings train. He played remarkably well against Bama.

ETA: not remarkably well but just okay

I don't think it's primarily a talent or even experience issue. It's our overarching, ultra-conservative philosophy on O (that stems from post-'08 trauma). Surely, talent and experience helps, but our approach is too high-maintenance.

Until that changes, any/every young QB is going to find it difficult getting their sea legs.

He was 8 of 26 with 70ish yards and an int and 1 td vs bamas very poor secondary

He was 2 of 5 for 11 yards and 2 ints vs New Mexico st

I'm still on the Ryan Leaf NFL train. Even after all the drugs & prison time, I think he's still got it.

I agree with that. The QB seems likes he's not allowed much autonomy in the play decision making process and that probably has to do with our exceptional ground game.
