Smoked ham, cabbage roles, green beans and carrots, black eyed peas with ham.

Moving very slow today. I roasted a pig yesterday and drank enough Ultra to float a battle ship.

Smoke it at 225 deg for about 8 hours, the internal temperature was at 150 deg and let it rest for an hour.

Deer sausage, grilled back strap & steamed broccoli with diet coke around a kick fire while the Little Dongs did fireworks.

Got this fella on my camera just 150 yards from my back door at 5:08am on 12/29 and at 6:25am on 12/30. Going to sit in the stand the next couple of mornings and hope he slips up. He's got a fresh line of scrapes on the tree line as well as a couple of rubs. Haven't seen a deer during daylight hours for a couple of weeks, but he's given me a little hope.

Happy New Year
