Wanting to get into turkey hunting

So I'm thinking about getting started turkey hunting. I have a $50 gift card to cabelas. What would it be best spent on for a beginner turkey hunter. What is the best kind of calls for a beginner.

Do you bass fish ? Loved to turkey hunt until I figured out bass were on the beds at same time .

No. Not really into fishing alot. Just mostly take kids to a couple ponds. Don't have a boat.

The single most valuable time that any turkey hunter owns...Thermacell....

Also, face net, net gloves, cushion to sit on, decoy, etc....

I prefer a slate/glass/aluminum call over a box. (And prefer a glass out of those three)
