Why does the team look so un-prepared year after year once they get to the actual bowl game?

Thought the extra practices were suppose to be a great advantage for team development...

Are they even using the practices?

Jesus christ, we have the worst fanbase in the country. We didn't even GO to bowls in the 90s to screw up.

But now they do go to bowls and have looked pretty bad the past 4.

Because the team didn't go to bowls and was less talented with less resources in the early 90's makes it ok for them to look unprepared or uninspired in bowls now? In 2014?

Makes perfect sense.

This loss is on the defensive coaching staff, more than any other factor.

Would you be motivated by an exhibition game? The offense was fairly well prepared. Defense was probably prepared until they got ambushed by this Chavis crap. He should have handled it much better.

Didn't get to watch due working hours on new job and couldn't bear watch DVR but I saw the highlights which were 2 big plays on O, 100y KO return and the TD that was STOLEN from us, then when heard on radio we were punting to them with minutes left knew the outcome as seen this script before.
But realists please tell me that watched did the team look uninterested and just same old O with some big lucky plays, or was uninspired as in @ Hogs? I"m sure the D had to be deflated some with Chief news?

Looked like the same level of bowl preparedness that we saw on 1/9 and against Clemson.

- Offense was based on trick plays and LF. Except LF was only given limited carries for some unfathomable reason.
- AJ looked shell shocked and like it was the first start of his career. The 75yd pass is the most deceiving box line ever, was really all yards after the catch.
- The Defense is hopefully what Chavis will be taking with him to ATM, typical 3rd and Chavis.
