I've been using federal fusion. The only deer that went further than 50 yards was a doe that I shot in the arse. She still died and still got the meat

Hornady doesnt make the Leverevolution for the 35 Whelen. They make a Superformance load for it.They do make the Leverevolution for the 35 Rem.
My 35 Whelen didnt like Hornady Superformance at all.I found that the Remington Core Lokt 200 gr shot best out of mine. The deer dont care. Either round will kill em right there.

Yeah I use the core lokt in my 270 and they are fine. I'm just trying to guess what will work best without having to buy different boxes (expensive). I've heard this caliber is very rifle specific. I don't need a heavier load but seems like a 200 or 225 will work best from what ive heard so far .I use 130 gr in my 270.

I don't like them for various reasons, but core locks generally shoot well in everything.

I have a Handi Rifle in 35 Whelen. A couple of guys that I work with shoot the Core Lokt in their CVA's with good results as well. More than likely it will be the best priced for that caliber.

200gr Hornady supraformance shoots great in mine. Same gun as you

Mine doesn't shot Hornady 200 gr worth a crap, although my buddy's gun shoots it just fine. I was using Core Lokt 200 gr with good results this year switched to Barnes 180 gr TSX and I will load my own TSX next year.

I shoot Double Tap's 180 gr Barnes TTSX load. My gun is a CVA Scout. The load performs well.

Every gun has its own likes and dislikes. You'll just have to find out what your gun likes.

Hornady 200 gr. if you can find them. if it does not group with that Barnes 180 gr.

My CVA Optima likes 200 gr Fusion loads. Killed 3 deer with them this past "primative" weapons season.
