I'm not clear on what went down. We may never know because the sec coaching fraternity is not very vocal. But we should thank him for the memories. He was a huge step up from the co-DC disaster and gave us great defenses that kept us in many games. We won the sec and played in an nc mainly because of the defense.

We'll see him on the other sidelines and it will be a little weird but once the ball is kicked off, Lsu will do what we do best which is to beat him like we used to before he got here.

Good luck to him. He'll need all of it when he plays us.

Players reactions indicate he left in a bad way. That was his choice. Don't need to thank him if he leaves on bad terms.

I appreciate what he's done, but I'm glad if he's gone, especially if we get Pendergast.

I will say thank you, but now he is in direct competition with us. So thank you & f#%* you at the same time.

You're right. I'd especially like to thank him and his prevent defense for the last two home losses to Alabama.

He went with the Aggies, no reason to thank him now.

We won no national championship with him regardless if his fault.

Chavis should thank LSU for the elite talent and being highly paid and the opportunity.

Chavis just ditched us late in the game without any heads up with a year left on his 1.3 million contract to go to a rival..

I appreciate his years here and wish he'd stay but I'm not about to thank him on these actions.

All signs point to him leaving in a bad way, so if true, he can go frick himself

if not, thanks for the time and good luck with that ag defense. Clancy gonna run shite in the SEC now, Chief. Get used to it.

frick that! The way he left his players high and dry and without a clue. He can suck it. No excuse for the way he handled things. Looked like he checked out long before he coached the bowl game.

Thank you, Chief, for squandering every lead we ever had on the last drive of any big game.

I guess I'm just not as upset as you guys. Coaches mean less to me. They can be bought and sold which is what happened here.

You are exactly right. Which is why there is no need to thank him.
