Black Sabbath>Led Zeppelin

shite, the first 6 Sabbath albums with Ozzy, that's about as good a run as any band ever had - up there with the Beatles, the Stones, Dylan.

Zeppelin did a lot of great stuff, but too much of their shite has been played to death by classic rock radio. I really got in to Sabbath about 10 years ago and I was amazed by the deep album cuts I hadn't heard before - Hole in the Sky, Sabba Cadabra, Supernaut, Hand of Doom, Snowblind, St. Vitus Dance.

That's Ozzy after he left Black Sabbath. It's off his first solo album "Blizzard of Ozz".

Still it's a great song. Suicide Solution off the same album is better though IMO.

LIVE: Suicide Solution 1981

The live version off of the TRIBUTE album is the way to go for that song. Randy was so good. I wish bands sounded like that in concert today.

I got to see Ozzy in 86 on his Ultimate Sin world tour. One hellva show. He had Metallica opening for him.

So you've been familiar with Zeppelin for years and not so much Sabbath, therefore Sabbath's music is better?
