Opening kick-off fumble

Am I the only person on this board who thought that Notre Dame fumbled on the opening kickoff........and that L.S.U. recovered?

Am I dreaming???

I don't know who recovered...but he definitely fumbled.

He fumbled but I guess he recovered it...

they may have fumbled but the recovery was unclear. it would have been a waste of time to review that in most games, but especially so when you consider how the review went at the end of the first half.

It absolutely should have been reviewed.

The fact that it wasn't is indicative of how poor the replay officials were in that game.

They ruled him down. when in fact he was clearly not. LSU got the crap end of offciating. First play of the half and the last play of the half were complete BS calls. Their O line were tackling D lineman. It was absolutley sickening to watch.

Agreed. Was there and observed it happening without a call, much more than the norm. Surprised that Godchaux and Hunter didn't strain a gut trying to pull away from the jersey holding. They called it once when Rasco was basically tackled in the wide-open backfield.
