What in the world are you folks bitching about? We lost probably 4 of the greatest offensive players in the programs history, and you expect zero drop off. The defense was putrid last year at times, otherwise we may have been more serious title contenders. And before you call me a sunshine pumper....I have 8 season tickets and if we are crap again next year I'll be the first to sound the alarm.

Oh and we lost a meaningless bowl game yesterday.....whoopty doo. Oklahoma was clearly better than bama last year.

Aside from losing to ND in the bowl game, the season played out exactly as I thought it would. We were young and inexperienced. Next year will be better.

10-3 which were easily within the grasp of the team. I had LSU defeating 'Bama and winning the bowl game which certainly could have happened. All-in-all, other than the passing game,(which is huge, I know) I felt the team performed as expected, although the late season, place-kicking issues were disturbing.

No one predicted 8-5 with an inept offense

I thought the run D would be a problem, Beckwidth saved the defense

I expected much better QB play

I expect Harris to be the guy by mid season

I expected 3 losses

I expected to beat Alabama at home

I expected LF to be a stud, and he is!

I expected to win the bowl game over an average ND team

Two expectations.

1. A young D would find it's footing by seasons end and become dominant. Achieved until yesterday's setback, though I blame a lot of that on Chavis.

2. That 2 QB's would get a chance to take the starting position and would measurably improve to the point of a possible NC in 2015.

We are bitching because on point 2, we saw a coach stick with the worst QB LSU has seen in at least 20 years because he is "his guy". We are bitching because only one QB was given a fair shot and it was the one the has minimal talent or ability to play the position at a high level. Mostly, we are bitching because the idiot that you are making excuses for has us in the same exact situation going into next year. We still have no QB! Why aren't you bitching with us?

You lost 2 guys who are vying for NFL rookie of the year, a qb who started as a rookie, and a very productive receiver. But hey, next man up.

So you really expected a 3rd grade offense? Must be nice to live life with zero expectations. You are never disappointed.

It took us 23 minutes to complete a pass against the 86th ranked pass Defense in the nation. After 4 weeks of practice to get ready. Are you serious here?

I figured 8 wins, maybe 9 if we stole one, possibly 10 in a best case everything went our way scenario.

I figured to see some improvement/progression in the passing game as the season went on....OOPS!

We all expected to lose games, but we also expect a respectable passing game and offense with our highest paid offensive coaching staff. To not be able to muster 160 yards passing a game, much less 200 yards is ridiculous. Especially with a second year QB and very good talented receivers. If a coach can't get his QB or offense to muster 200 yards passing (enough to keep D honest) in the high paced offensive oriented style of college football, he has failed miserably.

I was concerned about inexperience offense. But damn, TOTAL incompetence at the QB spot with ZERO IMPROVEMENT all year at QB caught me off guard.

I expected to have serviceable QB play. How many 2/3rd string and freshman QB's play for other teams, in control of the offense and can deliver to multiple options do we need to see?

I expected at least some improvement from AJ. I don't know why given this teams history, but I expected at least a little. I didn't expect the defense to be as bad as it was at the beginning of the season.
