Is it my Kindle or my internet?

My Kindle won't stay connected and it has difficulty acquiring the connection. My wife's Kindle works just fine at home. Mine won't. Where do I start here?

Are they the EXACT same kindles..She could have different wifi settings...Could be set to different encryption methods..
