Since this isn't on the rant can I insult LSU and its players?

Going to have to win the sec to get in and it's going to be a dog fight.

So I would not consider it a failure

well, it's a possible reality. Look at the SEC west. Bama will be a contented 3 out of 4 years. Auburn/Lsu may content for the other 1 out of 4 years. Ole Miss, Miss St, Ark are not laying down anymore.

the day LSU stops recruiting duel-threat QBs into a pro style offense is the day LSU has a chance to win a NC again

I don't know what a duel threat is, but I sure love when people don't understand what dual threat means

ok I'll make it more clear for you. when LSU stops recruiting QBs that are more talented on running than throwing, they will have a chance again.

you know exactly what I am talking about.

Disappointment, I suppose.

Surprising, not at all.

those are things you should put in the OP instead of asking a question and answering as simple as possible

I think it really depends.

The SEC is very competitive and not everyone can win the conference. I would only count on the conference champion making the playoffs.
