Miles = our future, so buckle up for continuation of the ride

The Michigan threat is the only threat that anyone should rationally be concerned with, and that is about to be locked down for the entirety of Miles's career coaching college football.
As such, Miles is ours for as long as he has privately considered being a college football coach. Let's assume that this is through the next 3 seasons, just as a reasonable guess (although as many as 6 seasons are a possibility based on his age and vigor and life phase).
Now. Let that sink in. Are you with reality now?
Seriously, can you ride forward with that reality? I hope so.
It is going to be harder for some than others, but buckle in and accept that mindset.
With 10 years of experience for most of us with Miles, we know who he is, so it is just a matter of accepting the good and the not-so-good and to "get what we get and to not throw a fit".
If he changes and modifies in some areas that bother you, then just accept that and integrate it into your mindset and your reality.
If he does not, then accept it just like you do traits of family members or others that do things differently than you, and try your damn best to support the Tigers under his leadership.
Buckle Up folks. It's been a hulluva interesting ride and it will continue to be a helluva ride.
With some fortune and continued great recruiting, we should be able to nab another natty.

I'm super excited for many more 3-4 loss seasons under Leslie.

As long as we play bama off their feet I'm ok with 4 losses every year.

Rantard Head Coach criteria: Must win every single game. Failure to do so will result in immidiate ridicule and termination

You talk about reality and then you post the above.
It will take more than a little luck and solid recruiting.
Miles has had that.

I'm excited about all the money I'll save by not going to games any more.
I can watch us lose to Bama in the last 2 minutes again from my own house

most rational fans going into this year figured on some losses. it's HOW LSU lost that have people pissed off. also, no one expects anything different because miles is so damn stubborn

Maybe you should be excited about a coach with a top 5 win% in sec history. (80 years and Miles is top 5) and the #1 ooc win% in sec history. You should be excited that Miles just gave lsu fans our most successful 10 year stretch in school history.
I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base.

2015's team looks like 2011's (before 2011 happened). No one was seriously saying LSU was going to run the regular season table. This defense (if Kwon/Hunter stay) will be lethal. The offense (if Alexander/Hawkins stay) will be at worst JJish. If Harris has the light bulb go off, or Jennings can get 5 to 10 percent more completions (ie become comfortable with some middle of the field routes), we very well could be looking at 0 to 2 losses in the regular season. Laugh if you want but the possibility is legit.

Please enlighten me on how we lost those games? The ole fashion "other team scored more points' variety?

And 2011 turned out great because of superior coaching in the BCS.

I'm hoping the answer for most is no and they GTFO. This shite is getting old, he is our coach and isn't going anywhere. Ride or Die!

I didn't feel threatened by Michigan.
I felt hopeful because of Michigan.
Alas ... Michigan has hit the jackpot. Good for them.

Agreed. This fanbase is full of terrible, low football iq "fans".

The question I always come back to is this : Do all coaches remain at their peak for their entire career? Or do they peak? Is it possible that Miles has peaked?
I don't think he should be fired but I also think he has peaked. Just my opinion. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm approaching apathy, final stage of the death knell of any program. I'll watch the Music City Bowl, but I just don't care much anymore. Tiger football is drifting out of my life.
