His 91/1,305/12 line over 12 games extrapolates to 144/2,132/16 over 16

He averaged 108.8 yards per game

He averaged 7.5 catches per game

He averaged 1 TD per game

That means he was on pace for 121/1740/16.


You were 1 for 3. Maybe you should do stats for baseball because .333 is actually good there.

Apparently OBJ was going to have four monster games (averaging more than 205 ypg) when he was injured.

Assuming game 4 = game 1 for OBJ then the OP is pretty close if you forecast the next 4 games based on his previous 12. But it's impossible to tell whether or not the trend would continue IRL.

It appears he used linear regression based on OBJ's previous 12 games and forecasted the next four.
