Coach Miles I am sure you don't read the Rant and I don't blame you for that, but I sure hope you watch ESPN. If so were you listening to Lane Kiffin's comments regarding their offense? He stated that it was Nick Saban that wanted to install an up-tempo offense. Saban another of the "3 yards and a cloud of dust" old school coaches that would rather run the ball from the i-formation than pass the ball has figured out that the future of college football is up-tempo.

Please take heed to this and understand if you do not change your philosophy on offense style football you will continue to fall further and further behind today's football!!!! Louisiana is loaded with recruits that will help LSU be successful with that style of football. Wake up before the decline becomes more prevalent.

So Saban hired an up-tempo coordinator to install an up-tempo offense? Shocking.

Do you really hope he was watching ESPN the day before the bowl game?

Wait, people think Bama runs an up-tempo offense?

They certainly didn't against us or Ole Miss

Alabama ran 72.8 plays per game. LSU ran 71.9. We run a higher temp than we did last year too...

We have averaged 73 plays/game over the last 3 years.

Johnson is still very much in play and we're in good shape with Dillon, Lodge, and Charlot.

Yes the offensive play calling is Kiffin but it was Saban who changed his philosophy on what type of offense to run and hired an OC that can run that kind of offense, that was the point. Miles needs to change his philosophy just as the dinosaur became extinct so to his is offensive philosophy in college football.

Well with the way our offense performed this year, he needs to start listening to someone besides his own stubborn-arse self!
