He will go to the highest bidder

I now believe that Chavis really is waiting for this to play out to see where Miles lands

The Raiders won't touch that much money, what they will offer instead is control, possibly all the way up to head coach AND GM.

If the Raiders offer him a lot of money + Head coach & GM, he will take it.

Idk about giving him that much control though, think I'd pass.

I think if Harbaugh can get a Pete Carroll set up he stays in the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach at the University of Michigan. He signed tonight, and he is flying in tomorrow. The game is over. The NFL guys simply cannot accept it.

Michigan has called in the band members from winter break to the basketball game on tuesday, and his close friends are all arriving on Tuesday.

The. Deal. Is. Done.

SportingNews reported the Raiders may offer him a duel role of HC and GM, which if true and they do, he'll take it, no doubt.

Just don't know if I believe the Raiders being willing to give him THAT much control.

Nope. I can literally say with 100% accuracy that Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach at the University of Michigan.

Lol

Miles isn't "landing" or going anywhere

Chavis has already agreed to a long-term deal. Sleep well.

FWIW, John Clayton said, on the Seahawks post-game show today, Harbaugh is going to Michigan. Raiders got tired of demands his agent had and he was using the "$48 million" as a negotiating tool. Remains to be seen how many conditions go along with the $48 million--i.e. how loaded it is with incentives to reach that figure.

Which would make no sense if they are meeting tomorrow.

It may well be a done deal, but Harbaugh really turned around the 49ers. You would think some other NFL teams would make a run at him in the hopes they could land him.

Will be a great hire for Michigan, I am just surprised to see a successful NFL coach go back to college.

If he does go, the B1G will definitely be better. Ohio, Michigan, MSU and Penn State could all be on the upswing.

In order for the 49ers to release him from his contract.. he probably signed a ND/NC meaning he agreed not to coach in the NFL for a certain number of years probably 4-5. There is no way they would let him go with the possibility of going to another NFL team without getting something in return. It is over, he is going to Michigan you guys are worse than the NFL guys.

Yep, if he has player decision control, he will take that job.
