How about no. I like filling my car up for $20 instead of $40. Sorry your buddy got laid off or you didn't get the Christmas bonus you wanted.

I don't drive one. But, if I did, I am comfortable enough with my sexuality to enjoy the benefits of the smart car and not feel insecure about possibly being called a "commmie liberal homosexual."

frick that, these low prices are terrible for pretty much everyone in south LA

You're dumb. Most people will not be laid off or have a pay cut due to low oil prices. In fact, most people will now have more spending money which helps local businesses. Just different ones.

If it stays low there will be lots of lay offs which won't be good for local economy but the chance of that is pretty low.

You are posting on a website where majority of the p posters or posters families are involved some way or another in petrochemical.

Or it could stay down for 15 years like the 1980's crash. No one knows.

They're mostly getting laid off? Will refineries stop refining oil into gas, plastics, and other by-products just because their raw materials are cheap? No.

I'm posting on a board where there's a strong disconnect between belief and reality.

many people getting hurt != most or "just about everyone".
