With another sub 90 passer rating...

Up to a 3 year high of 85. You have to go back to 2003 for Brees to be anywhere near that level of play

Awesome to have such dumbass fans with absolutely no understanding of the game of football.

Awesome response to a benign legitimate question. Maybe if you quit sucking. Brees' cock long enough to open your eyes you'll fabricate a legitimate rational response to support your apparent love of a QB who seems to have regressed tremendously the last two seasons. I appreciate what Brees has done as well, but his performance this season- regardless of Oline play- is cause for concern.

It's really hard to take you seriously. You can't even acknowledge that Brees has had tons of soul crushing turnovers all year. One day I'm going to break down his numbers when the game was still competitive. I'm willing to bet most of his interceptions and fumbles came during that time.

I would be surprised if he had elite stats when games were still in question. Not a bit surprised if a large portion of his stats were packed on when the game was over and he was dinking and dinking against DBs 12 yards off the ball.

Possibly the dumbest statistic in QB comparison. Dilfer > Dan Marino.

3 interceptions against the Bucs. I didn't see the game. Were all 3 the fault of someone other than Brees?

Hint: an answer from someone other than you and a couple others gets more credibility.

In all seriousness is there a large enough sample size to conclude that?

A nice attack to start off the argument

Uh, sure I can. I just don't put the blame squarely on his shoulders. Blaming Brees for the Cleveland, Atlanta, Ravens, and Cincy losses is ridiculous IMO.

Would you like me to do it for you? Give me your parameters of when the game is competitive.

Thank you for admitting that made a statement without being able to back it to with substance though.

stats please, and can you correlate this "tremendous: regression with the regression of the guard and center play as well as the regression of the wide receiver and tight end play? Yes Drew has made some bad throws/decisions with the ball, but if you think he's the problem with the offense then you simply don't have a fundamental understanding of the game of football.

2 were his fault. The other was tipped at the LOS

And we won today. We actually won the 2 games he played the worst in

Lolz. Clearly you have credibility when you miss games

Seriously, you're a joke. Backup your claim with stats instead of citing that you'll do the work one day to validate your stupid opinion

I will break it down and eat my words if I am wrong.

I would consider competitive when there's a realistic chance of winning. I count that last pathetic drive against Atlanta a game where the game was still competitive. That should help his stats. At least until he aaron brooksed the game away.

So what games did we not have a realistic chance of winning and at what point.

You made this claim for the ravens game and I completely disproved it. You just like to talk out of your arse

What I meant was you are one of the biggest (if not biggest) Brees apologist on this board. I feel like Brees could take a shite on someone you care about's face and you would find a way to not make it Drew's fault.

I don't think you are objective at all. Sure Brees is better than most options out there but he's not top 5 anymore.

Even when Drew did have some pass protection this year, he just didn't seem to have that same zip on the ball or shuffling in the pocket as in years past.

Well I think he led the league in deep ball completion percentage. And led the league in completion percentage. But yeah, probably best just to judge using your eye test.

And Stafford has passed him or is "coming into his own"

Please back that one up

Wasn't he less than 20% against the worst defense in the NFL just 2 weeks ago with the deep ball (1 of 8 at some point). Or was that before Atlanta?
