All we can hope is that it affects their attitudes enough to get serious about 3rd party voting, because neither of these cartels will be getting my vote in the future, with possible exceptions.

Uh... 2016 is going to be a pretty big Democratic year, I'd be shocked if they didn't retake the Senate as well as retain the White House.
As for the white vote- Dems haven't won a majority of the white vote in Decades, but given that the GOP gets destroyed by 30% or more in basically every minority group, it doesn't really matter.
national Demographics have shifted dramatically in the last quarter century- Romney did as well or better than Reagan in 1984 with the vast majority of demographic groups but lost in an electoral vote landslide.
