Gruden is not going anywhere, signed a five year deal.

He probably won't be fired, but the length of the contract is meaningless. He can still be fired. Cleveland fired Chud after just 1 year and he had a multi year contract.

Carolina can blame injury, he stays. No coach leaves from worst division if Falcons win today

Any chance the Giants are coach shopping next week?

I doubt it, because I don't t think Coughlin is going anywhere

Gus Bradley has done a good job

Falcons quit on Smitty. He gone, and I hope Dimitroff the coach killer, too.

It's going to get pretty wild in the next few days

We won't get rid of Whisenhunt even though I don't think he'll ever be a great coach for us but to his credit half the team was injured.

Kinda surprised Rex hasn't been let go yet. Its not as if that is new news.

I think Gus Bradley gets at least another year. I think he's a good coach, but he has no talent around him

Miami is my guess at a "surprise" opening
Posted on 12/28/14 at 9:19 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
I feel like there will be 8 openings this year.

I agree with you for the most part. I am interested to see what we will look like next year without 384638392946 injuries, especially along the O-line. The defense just needs so much help. I want to give Whiz a fair shot and don't think this injury-ridden year was even close to being that. He's got to learn to take chances though.

Assured:
Chicago
San Fran
Atlanta
Oakland
NY Jets
Miami
Possible:
NY Giants (Coughlin retirement)
Rams (Fisher likely stays but could be dumped in move back to LA)
Saints (Payton to Giants if he is not committed to rebuild)

Payton would likely have to do some rebuilding in N.Y..
