He is going to be an awesome career back up or 3rd stringer

This is not an exaggeration. Right now he is closer to being on The Celebrity Apprentice than he is to leading a team to the playoffs.

He turned out to be a poor man's Case Keenum. Any man with pride and self-awareness would be ashamed of himself. But go on--keep chasing that celebrity. The people you are trying to suck up to are already starting to laugh at you.

I hope he'll be drummed out soon.

This is hilarious. Isn't there a staffer he could have setup or a trainer? Someone to call? Hey bro come get me? He's getting up for a massage and day soap type shite we pay for. Not very intense.

Similar to guys getting popped for DUI. Get one of your boys to drive you home? Get a car service? Cab? You're rich? Hell I'd sign an endorsement deal with a local tow truck company. Their Saturday night service would be part of the contract.

I should offer my services to these teams. Player "handler". Just hang out and not drink. Mop up the side-poon the players throw back. Tell them I'm the back up kicker or deep snapper. shite something.!!

These services already exist and are given to the players for free. They just never use them

Some of these players need a handler, someone who isn't a "yes man." Unfortunately, they probably would not listen.

They had to hunt Manziel down because he wouldn't answer his phone calls from the team. He needs to worry a lot about trying to be the Justin Bieber of the sports world.

Just blows my mind. Set it up BEFORE u go out. Everybody THINKS they are fine when they are not. But if you set it up before you have no choice.

What's wrong with this pos? He just had to show up. The browns need to cut him. He needs to be blacklisted

Usually the story is they don't want to leave their expensive car over night so they drunk drive instead

So stupid

Some Browns were late, manziel didn't show up at all, big difference

Showing up at 11:30 for the Indianapolis game (1:00 kick) told me all I needed to know about him. I was hungover from the night before, got free tix to the game that morning, live 45 minutes from the stadium and still beat Manziel there that day. Hoyer doesn't have the talent, but he acts like a professional and takes his job seriously. Manziel could learn something from him if he wants to.

Everyone has been late to their job at least once before. Happens on every team every season. Plus he isn't playing this week. Not a big deal

His "job" right now is to show up at team facilities to have someone rub his hamstring while he lays down. He literally just needed to roll out of bed and have someone drive him there.

Plus, put this in the context of his "I need to take this more seriously" comments only a week ago and yeah, it's a pretty big deal.

Dude just doesn't GAF and frankly, he's not talented enough to be this cavalier about the game. He'll never be a starter in this league.

Listening to him as a washed up, burnt out recovering coke addict in 10 years will make for an outstanding 30 for 30.

I don't think it's that he DGAF.
It's that he thinks he can manage it.

He should ask Gronk how he balances his great work ethic and his partying

I wish I could have not received any consequences for tardiness whenever I had to pull staff duty while in the army or for just general accountability. Which I never showed up late for and was always present. Manzel just needs to keep acting up so he can get cut hopefully we can stop talking about him.

Gronk does his partying in the offseason. That guy is all business when the season starts.

Plus Gronk has other worldly skill sets and production that make it easy for even Belicheck to look past him killin the dance floor at bogies

Manziel doesn't have that luxury

Maybe so. If that's true though, he's not nearly as bright as I previously thought.

He clearly thinks he is the best QB in this class, yet he spent nearly the entire year sitting behind Hoyer when Bridgewater, Carr, Mett and Bortles were starting weeks ago. You'd think the light would have come on a hell of a lot sooner signaling that that he needed to do something different.

But La Canfora reports that the Browns had to send their security staff to Manziel’s house to track him down on Saturday.

I'd cut his arse right now. the browns need a leader, not someone they need to babysit.

Johnny is an idiot.

And I say that as an Aggie.

For shame.

Puts Pettine in a tough spot too. He's clearly not a Manziel fan and it wasn't his call to start Manziel. Manziel is Haslem's guy.
