I suppose this needed to be reported, but it seems like the media is fixated on every miniscule thing about Johnny Football.
I guess the media forced him to say that he needed to take his job more seriously and then show up late for the one thing he's getting paid to do. He came into the league with the "I don't care what people think of me" attitude and it's biting him in the arse now. If he cared about the spotlight shining too brightly on him he wouldn't have flashed the money sign when he was drafted or flick off the opposing sideline in a preseason game. If you're going to come in with a chip on your shoulder you better back it up. You can act like it's the media's fault but he didn't do himself any favors acting the way has.

Everyone has been late to their job at least once before. Happens on every team every season. Plus he isn't playing this week. Not a big deal

I wasn't late my first year on the job. As a matter of fact, I wasn't late my first five years on the job.

NBC Sports is reporting Manziel threw a big party Friday night and that was the reason he was tardy.

Ridiculous. Its a huge deal especially after he called himself out. Couldn't wait 2 more weeks to throw a rager with Drake in a shitty Cleveland club

And that multiple players were tardy other than Manziel and Gordon....yet those two are the only ones punished

It's clear the Browns are dysfunctional, but they are just throwing shite against the wall to take the blame off themselves

These guys are the face of the franchise. They want to be. They want to get paid and treated like the are, they want to be the leaders and have both declared as much. Yet their actions are the furthest things from their declarations. And you wonder why they are the ones we hear about?

You do realize we live in a country that follows the adventures of Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, etc.??

Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel’s tardiness on Saturday morning was precipitated by a late night of partying on Friday.

Manziel was fined for being late for treatment on his injured hamstring on Saturday, and Jason La Canfora of CBS reports that Manziel’s tardiness came after he threw a big party on Friday night, attended by many members of the team. La Canfora reports that other players were tardy on Saturday as well, although those players’ names have not been revealed.

It’s not clear whether Josh Gordon, who was suspended by the Browns for missing Saturday’s walk-through practice, was one of the players who attended Manziel’s party. But La Canfora reports that the Browns had to send their security staff to Manziel’s house to track him down on Saturday.

Dammit Johnny, get your shite together.

Sure just less than four years ago he was still in high school, and the guy was born in 1992 but damn with all the shite that's been happening you'd think he'd chill just a tad.

Really wanted to see the guy in the NFL.
