So this mature buck returned to the same area where he was shot / injured, during daylight hours, just 2-3 days after being shot?

Kun few shus said, "Sometimes it's better for one to bite his tongue, possibly all the way off, remain quiet and let others wonder about intelligence, than to speak with hot air and prove inteligence, or lack thereof".

I read that in a lil plastic wrapped fortune cookie made in San Fran, it has to be true.

That's not what I said. I was referring to the expansion part of it. But whatever.

But the deer dropped like a sack of potatoes. He said so himself.

Dwayne needs to stay on the couch.

I was watching the outdoor channel last night and the guy dropped the deer in the food plot. Started celebrating and packing his shite to climb down and the deer jumped up and ran. All on video and they confirmed it was never found.

Interesting story and thread to say the least. I'd like nothing more than for dayne o to shoot this deer, perform an autopsy to find out what happened when he first shot it, then post a picture, and finally, have this deer scored. Good luck!

I know. And I'm ok with it. I can take it. But turnabout is fair play...some don't get that.

I'm not gonna call bullshite on dayne o, a coworker just showed me a pic of a 156" 8 point that a friend of his killed on a lease (not high fence) near the Trinity River. Great mass and long tines, a beast.

I also witnessed a friend of mine shoot a nice 135" 11 point from 70 yards with a 270 and drop him in his tracks. 10 minutes later, after the deer hadn't even flinched while on the ground, we walked up to it and the damn thing jumped up and took off running like he'd never been hit. My buddy shot him in the back of the head before he got away though.
