This is the first review I've bothered to write on any product, ever. That is how bad these sheets are. I don't think there's a single fiber of cotton anywhere in these, and they are definitely closer to 100 than 1600 thread count. They don't even feel like "microfiber"; just cheap, thin polyester. Absurd. These are the AIDS of bedding. If you have these sheets on your bed when you bring someone home from the club, they will simply bounce off the anti-sex force field these emit. Sleeping on a pile of used maxi-pads and rusty nails would be a more comfortable and rational proposition. I would suggest washing them to get the smell of Chinese manufacturing off them before use, but I don't think they'll hold up in the machine. An hourly-rate motel catering to meth heads and 10 dollar hookers wouldn't be caught dead using these sheets. When I first opened up the package I started speaking in tongues and got the stigmata. I could go on, but I think I've made my point pretty clear.

First off, if they are 1600 thread count, then I am 96 feet tall with titanium for hair and bunny rabbits for fingernails. It's that ridiculous. They are so thin, they are see-through. The best way I can think to describe them is that they are very similar to panty-hose, without the stretch.

I prefer thin sheets because the thicker they are the hotter they feel to me. Probably 3/4 of the people that reviewed these sheets never slept on them. I purchased these sheets from a local discount bedding place that starts with an A. While they are not 100% cotton and are NOT represented at 1600 TC... I fell in love with em. Went back and bought the last Queen set they had. Since nothing has ever replaced the old true Cannon Charisma 310ct sheets... I've searched and searched for a sheets that feel wonderful on my skin. These do. They also do not pill like so many of the high thread count cotton sheets I've purchased. They launder well also. If you can deal with the idea of sleeping on synthetic microfiber and want a soft feel... give em a shot.

I recently decided to try them out and see how "terrible" they were. To my surprise, these sheets are really nice. They are smooth and soft, cool and don't hold a wrinkle. I've had Canopy sheets that cost more and weren't as nice. I've had "high thread count" pillow cases that felt like i was getting an overnight microderm abrasion. I've stayed at top-of-the-line hotels (from which you can buy their proprietary line of bedding) who's sheets weren't this comfortable. So, boo to the naysayers, these are really decent sheets, and at the prices i see for them i'm planning on picking up another couple sets.

You can either buy cheap or comfortable but can't get both
