This 7pt keeps showing up. He's a much bigger deer than what we have usually. He was in plot yest morning at 5am.

Then a few small bucks but we are seeing more bucks on camera than does. One yr ago today I killed a 7pt that just showed up. Had never been on camera all yr.

Gotcha. My uncle lived right near the split in town. Carl Chapman. Had lots of nice deer behind his place when I was a kid.

We hunt on the north end, our property borders Kennedy Creek. I may know you. Inside or outside the yellow gates?

We haven't seen much all year. Hopefully next year will be better. Finally going to start doing some thinning on the property. Do you work in BR? I believe someone who hunts your property work with my dad.

No were all from Lafayette I do know a few guys from Baton Rouge that hunt in the hills though. Their last name is Rasti. That may be them. Our neighbors last name is butler, he's from the Hammond area. Good luck man, come pass by the camp if your in the area for New Years.

Looks like I may pack it in and head back home. Not seeing much as it is. Going to come back for a long weekend next weekend and hope the rut has progressed

Had the truck packed and was about to leave the camp and the wife insisted we go sit one more time since the rain stopped so I'm back at it. Passing showers. Hoping the move in between
