Watching Wallace go down ( ) makes me curious as to what you think was the hardest death to watch on The Wire?

let me say this off topic comment. season 4 rehashed a lot of the themes of season 1 with wallace, poot, and brody
that's why i don't rank 4 as highly, b/c the kids storyline is why people like it so much. season 1 is tougher, from the kid who loses sight in his one eye to seeing brody work the system to seeing wallace's arc. and then there is poot
wallace is obviously the answer

Having a 5 year old cap Omar just never sat right with me.

Prop Joe. That wasn't right, and by such a punk.
And Season 4 is entirely different than Season 1.

Whoever the kid Bodie shoots in season 1 o 2 is.

Watching Bodie die actually made me shed a tear. For some reason I always liked that dude.

Bodie was the hardest, one of my favorite characters who goes down like a champ

Outside of Bubbles, the greatest character in TV history, Bodie has the best arc on the show.
"I'm tired."

I would say Wallace but he really was a snitch.
For me it's Omar because he was done in by that little punk arse kid.

Slim Charles capped that little kid with the inhaler.

D'Angelo.
that whole thing with him getting deep into the book discussions and not wanting anything to do with his past meant nothing in the end.
his mom even helped talk him into to do doing the time right?
no one really cared about that dude except Avon and his mom.
i like the way McNulty put the guilt trip on his mom when he investigated D'Angelo's death.

Watching McNulty lay the guilt trip was tough to watch too

I think what happened to Randy was worse. Probably the toughest thing to watch from the series.

I don't know about all that - but that was the single best acting performance on The Wire - which is saying something because almost all of them were great.
While on location in Baltimore, Andre Royo was given (not offered to buy) heroin by someone who indicated, "You need a fix more than I do." Royo calls this his "Street Oscar" (technically would be an Emmy, but his point is well taken - and awesome.)
That's delivering a performance.
