My dad died this past Sunday. 56 years old. Too young in my opinion. A drunk is coming, just haven't had the right time yet

ETA: in orlando Florida after falling ill on the last day of our disney vacation. Plenty of drinking has happened since. Kinda still in the numb phase of this death thing. Never had anyone close to me die.

Mom was 42.

Right time on the date is a few years later.

Right time right after was my birthday. About two weeks later.

Granted, this was for me.

Very sorry for the loss of your dad...I lost my father as well and found the whole thing to be kind of surreal...

Took me a few months for it to really sink in...my advice is, don't deny yourself the grieving process whenever that time comes....

Lost my grandfather on NYE 1990. I was a sophomore in high school and it was the first person close to me who ever died. First time I ever saw my dad break down and lose it.

Stay safe OT, lots of depression around here

We have all lost people,it's called life. It's all about how we move foward from that point.

I lost an older brother 2 years ago of a heart attack and my father 3 months after that of a broken heart. I just remember the good things and it makes me smile. Don't be sad about the loss. Be glad for the time you had prior to. It makes life a lot better and I'm convinced our loved ones would want all of us to be our best.

Be safe.

SO died two months ago. Not joking.
Mom died in '98, not fretting it. I was 24.
Dad got cooler. Both times.
