Warren Morris. It was a moment that won a national championship.
Cannon would be 2nd.
Personally a moment that I'll never forget is the last play/punt against Oklahoma, watching the time expire and witnessing the first LSU football championship in my life.

It absolutely was a 3-2 pitch I remember it like it was yesterday. It was 3-2 with 2 outs. Yes it was watch the replay.
No it wasn't. It was the first pitch.

Loved the Morris HR, but Lionel Turner's sack ending the '04 Sugar Bowl was over the top. Especially with the significance of football and where that title put LSU in the national landscape.

It was definitely the first pitch he saw.

Morris' story deviates, just slightly, from the popular fantasy in one crucial aspect. While children around the country may typically hit their fictional winning homers with a 3-2 count, Morris crushed the first pitch he saw. "All I was thinking is, 'I'm going to go into this aggressive,' which is probably why I hit the first pitch," he said. "More than anything it was good for me that is was the first pitch, because I didn't have a lot of time to think about it."

So nobody mentions the Billy Cannon run back that earned him the Heisman or the Pistol Pete half court hook shot in double overtime against Georgia that ended his college career..
Wasn't alive for those, so I will go with Warren Morris as well.

Odd, but that's the same reaction I had to that
punt. Watching it spin and come to rest in the
corner of the field where I was sitting.

Skyler greens catch in the 03 Georgia game. Also the best game I ever been to
For football, I agree with this. For all sports, Warren Morris

Yeah, I thought this also; even though was alive in 58 (2) was not a conscious recall. The feeling of us sitting up there in the stands was unbelievable!
