2016 Barbe OL Collin Fountain

This kid is all LSU if/when they offer. A little short for guard but could end up being a great Center in the future. Anyone else know anything about his recruitment? I'd hate to see him end up at Bama

If LSU hasn't offered him a scholarship, why would Bama?

Because I hear Bama is on him as well as LSU. If I heard Texas was on him, I would've mentioned Texas.

I met this guy at the July camp two years ago and he's a really nice guy. Me and my friend hung out with him and his Barbe friends and really enjoyed ourselves. Not only is he a good guy, but he is a phenomenal player. Hopefully, he ends up as a Tiger.

Watched him play quite a bit this past season and I think he will end up with a offer. He does have some "bad" weight he needs to cut though.

I wonder if the 'Bama mention wasn't made just to attract more posts.
I am not sure about Fountain, but since many of us think the Tigers reached a bit by offering Moreau this soon, then an offer to him is certainly not out of the question. I was wondering if LSU should have offered Garrett Thomas, given the apparent losses of Tillery and Sweet.
Back to Fountain, though, LSU has signed plenty of players from Barbe HS in the last few years in both football & baseball.

I actually taught him for half a year his sophomore year. Great kid, great parents. At the time he was all LSU.

Bama has offered about 1-2 Louisiana boys per year that LSU didn't offer in the recent past...
