We have equal or better talent than anyone else in the country. Yet we seem to be losing to teams with inferior talent, Arkansas 2014, Ole Miss 2013, Clemson 2012. We have also only won our own division once on the last 7 years. Yes, when talent is there and results are not, coaching is the problem. FYI only once in Miles' tenure has Alabama been our only loss.

Name 5 Programs you would prefer to LSU over the last 5 years.
I'd "prefer" for LSU to be able to compete for Championships again, not sweat out the Indy bowl or settle for Music City.

Also not learning from past mistakes. QB issues/not having a QB ready to step in were the excuses in 2008-2010. Yet here we are in 2014 hearing the same excuses, when do you learn from that mistake.

That's the problem. Why wait until the last week in the regular season to make changes?

So name 5 Programs that have done that on an annual basis since 2010.

I think that people don't see or choose not to see that Les doesn't play the game. It's his job to put the team in position to win. 2012 LSU was in position to win at home. 2014 LSU was probably in a even better position to win. Les didn't kick the ball out of bounds on the kickoff. the 1/9 stuff, well LSU had no shot to win that game. Sorry. Not excuses. Just wasn't going to happen after the GOC. reality is sometimes you win. sometimes you don't. It's how you handle the don't(s) that really matter probably. I've seen LSU teams in my lifetime have a tough defeat and not recover. Generally this program under Les does.

then we need to figure out what they're doing or figure out a way to perform at an even higher level.
Mercedes C-class for recruits moms is a start.
And as much as you chronic crybabies hate to admit it LSU is NOT mediocre. It is one of the top programs in the country. I am willing to bet that each of you that think are not the top 10 in anything you do, except bitch.

You seem obsessed with other programs.
I only care about one that hasn't even come close since 2011. And has in fact gotten unarguably WORSE every single year since being a national laughing stock in its last appearance in the SuperDome.

This, "we're only second to Saban in the country" mindset is laughable.
If you believe this, then you must have an idea of which program is second.

In 2012 when up 3 points late in the game, Les DECIDED not to trust his QB (who was having a great game) and instead play for a FG and a 6 point lead. Put the ball in the hands of your QB and stop playing conservative, PLAY TO WIN, not to "keep it close."

Are you an Alabama fan? I'm talking about LSU and competing within our division for a championship.
Alabama seems to have that figured out, we do not.
But he seems to be able to beat everyone else on his schedule and, with a first year starting QB, won the SEC and is playing for a National Championship.

So giving the ball to Hill on 3rd & 2 was a bad decision? Attempting a 4th down conversion was "keeping it close"?

It wasn't 3rd and 2, it more like 4 or 5. Yes running up the middle when Bama had 9 people in the box is conservative. Even Miles admitted after the game he should have given Mett a chance to make a play there. Miles is good at admitting what he should have done or "wanted to do" after the game.
If you are talking about the fake 55 yard FG, that was just stupid.

Kicking a FG when up by 3 is playing to win. You force them to score a TD and you have to TRUST YOUR DEFENSE at some point.

We had two drives between scoring our last TD and Alabama scoring theirs. One resulted in a turnover on downs at the 24 yard line.
But I guess if Miles was "playing to win" we would have kicked a FG in that scenario.
