That job participation number is not bad for people who are knowledgeable about the topic. People need to learn skills needed today to participate in the job market today.

Employers don't pay people just to make sure they are employed. You don't add some sort of value, you don't have a job.

You sound like a fiscal conservative.

You realize these people are still getting paid. Not by an employer, but by you.....

I think the Rs and Supreme Court will gut Obamacare.

I'm more concerned about the EPA regs shutting down coal and our already strained power grid having blackouts along with higher electric costs. I hope more natural gas and oil fired plants will be built to counter the coal plants shutting down

No doubt. Really irrelevant and the economy has definitely been back for several years now.

The economy has been strengthening for the last few years, but I'm comfortable saying that it's firmly "back" for the first time. It wasn't the great, instant recovery that some apparently expected after the worst recession in modern history, but when you consider our recovery relative to the rest of the developed world, we're still one hell of an engine.

I would like to thank Obama for the best job I ever had and my hot new wife this new salary has afforded me.

The economy is picking up because we just elected Republicans into the Senate.

The fact that we are on the economic equivalent of life-support has you excited?

Forgive me for asking, but point me in the direction of a presidency when the National deficit didn't rise (and leave Bill Clinton out of this, that man is a Saint!!!)

As long as we don't double the deficit (RR, circa 1980's) im good with it.

The numbers game is such a tiring exercise. We won't go back to 2 trillion in deficit just like we won't go back to 25 cent gas (although we are threatening on the latter)

So the Bush defense to the max, didn't the liar in chief claim Bush was un-American for 8 trillion in debt?
