My uncle that lives in half way house asked mom if he could bring a friend over that had no where to go last night. Mom said yes but my brother in law refused to bring his and my sister's kids if the friend came.
The BIL is the front runner for trashiest person in this thread.

Hurts bc it was marriage material. But hell man, you can't do much if after 6 months they mainly see you as more friend than anything else. Feelings don't develop they don't develop.
Your outlook on it looks pretty solid FWIW.

My sister is trash.
Santa apparently brought my six year old nephew a box of coal. He has been "a handful." She said something a couple of weeks ago, we thought she was joking.
About 9 am this morning, she posted it on Facebook, complete with a picture of him crying. She was laughing it up with her trashy friends in the comments.
I told her privately that I thought it was inappropriate. She told me to mind my on damn business and she will raise her kids the way she wants. She's right, but she refused to let him open gifts from us, his grandparents.
Well how bad was he? The replies look pretty solid on it being a fricked up thing to do, but considering how undisciplined and spoiled so many kids are these days...erring on the side of consequences may not be that bad of a thing.
