You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine...

Figured this movie would not be funny, I laughed a lot though. Funny movie.

Why did so many of y'all think it wouldn't be funny?

I thought it would be funnier than what it was to be honest. Now that could be because I watched it by myself on a 12 inch computer monitor

I watched it early this morning. Meh. It had its moments but I didn't think it was anything special....but I'm not the biggest Seth Rogen fan.

Maybe I'm just getting old (31) but this is easily the worst movie I've seen all year long and I go to the movies about once a week.

My favorite moments:

All the Lord of the Rings references.

Seth Rogen being himself on a train somewhere in China.

Aaron tells Suk that he's "not into any hand shite".

"Don't touch Aaron, he's a jew."

"Oh, ew, that's gross."

And when Seal Team Six shows up to rescue them.

SO many funny scenes. The concern they had for the guard cracked me up. Right when they got back in the room, "He fricking chewed that thing! You're not even supposed to touch it! He was grinding it with his fricking teeth."

Just finished it. I thought it was really good, actually. Maybe I just went in with low expectations, but I found Franco hilarious and Rogen a lot less irritating than usual (that's all he getting out of me).

The song during the end scene made a lot more sense after watching the whole movie. Loved the one liners: "They're peanut butter and jealous of us" (stealing that one) and "Honey pot/honey dicking" are classics.

The only scene I could have done without was the one in the control room where they were biting off each others fingers. Just seemed a little dumb and forced for laughs.

Wind of Change? The song was written about the end of the Cold War and Communists ran Governments. It fit perfectly considering what is happening in North Korea.

Loved it. Not a great movie by any stretch. Just a stupid fun movie.
