2001 defense sucked at pass d. We just didn't have the depth in th secondary. If you remember, Gay burned his shirt in SECCG.
The next year it was more evident when Damien James left the team. Secondary went down then.

2001 was still in the early days for me si ill have to take your word for that. Hard to believe that Ryan Clark, Randall Gay, Corey Webster, and Damien James sucked at pass D.

Webster was still a receiver in 2001 and Gay was a situational player for a good part of the season. I think he only started once that year. Clark and James were the only two that played all the time in 2001.

No they werent ranked. Which is what you had. UF wasnt good in 2003. They lost 5 games. So what i missed their 1 other decent win. They werent good.

Lsu was the only west team to finish the season ranked. Only a fricking idiot would say 2001 sec is any where near the strength of 2013 sec..
