Wade's won three and Finals MVP. So thank you.
Wade's won 1 and finals MVP without Lebron. Wade would have never won another ring if it wasn't for Bosh and Lebron coming to town and you know that.

How many rings would Bosh/Wade have won without LBJ? Thank you.
I think you're missing the point. For one I don't hate Lebron. Secondly, from LeBron's own mouth, going to Miami taught him how to win, not the other way around.

Yeah, because he played with actual basketball players and not a watered-down shaq or West/Mo Williams

Because Pat Riley is all of a sudden a bad GM? Bosh signed on before LeBron did. Teams win championships.
If you want to credit LeBron for the rings, then you have to blame him for his teams records in the finals(2-3 series, 11-20)

That implies that a roster is the only thing that makes a winner.

Yes i do. If i werent my son's role model, id have no problem with him looking up to LJ. He has never been in trouble. He has married his high school sweetheart. He doesn't have any kids out of wedlock and seems like an all around genuine guy. The people that hate Lebron are people that dont want him to pass their favorite pkayers from back in the day

I actually rooted for Lebron more when he was with Miami, since everyone else hated him. I still follow him but I guess I'm more neutral towards him now.
Really didn't like the way he forced them to trade away Wiggins. He could've turned that kid into a wrecking machine.

They're working out real well with that 13-16 record. The loss to the Mavs in the finals was a lot on him. The one in Cleveland ??? Hell no. & this past year I'll just tip my hat to the Spurs and Duncan because they were the better team and wanted it more.
Edit: & it is an accomplishment in itself that LeBron willed that '07 team to the finals after he destroyed the pistons.

Nobody is saying otherwise, but a sweep is a sweep. If you're going to say LeBron was the reason they went back to back, he has to be held accountable for the losses.
That being said, you're clearly a LeBron fanboy and not looking at this objectively.
I'm indifferent to him, but for the rings argument, well enjoy the year off.

I understand that but to pin the '07 loss on him is a little insane. I just said the Mavs loss was on him, and the Spurs last year were just better, more prepared, and wanted it more.

Idk I kinda liked him at first especially when he destroyed the Pistons in that 4th quarter. But idk he just lacks that killer instinct sometimes when we all know he could dominate.
Idk his issue with Marbury about the cheap shoes while his brand runs insane amount of money. I was ok with the decision because it all went to charity, but idk he seems too passive, I miss guys not liking each other and going after it.

That's the NBA as a whole, and hell sports in general as a whole now.

FWIW, Blatt is the type of coach who is going to find something that works.
It's defense, that's where he'll have to work some magic.

He's not the GOAT. But he his one of the rarest physical specimens I've ever seen play.

MJ and Magic and Bird were all good friends. Magic and Isiah kissed before a tipoff.
I'm not sure what old NBA we're remembering.

I was watching a feature on the dream team yesterday and they were talking about the problems they had when practicing. Jordan didn't want to practice on Magics team, he wanted to go against magic. Same with Bird and Barkley, Robinson and Ewing, etc etc. Those guys wanted to beat the other elite players in the league, not team up with them. Things are definitely different these days.

I think it's reflective of society. We have instant access to one another, and it's easier to interact with individuals with similar interests. Athletes are no different. It's generally healthy social behavior; I think it's absurd to hope athletes hate each other, when that is quite maladaptive.

Its more AAU influenced than anything, the Josh Smith sweepstakes is a great example. Rondo and Howard-former amatuer teammates of Howard.
That being said for those looking for intense rivalries I point to the quartet of Clippers-Warriors-Grizzlies-Thunder.
It's chippy among those teams.

I agree that they shouldn't necessarily hate each other, it's more wanting to beat the best on the biggest stage and prove that they are the best.
