The decision never bothered me, in fact for the most part I applauded him for it.

Now that he has returned to Cleveland I have stopped really rooting for him. He is just a diva plain and simple.

As a 27 year old I am in a similar boat. I never really watched much of the NBA growing up myself. I started following a bit more when LeBron got drafted and became a star.

dude we know you are a bandwagon fan with like 7 teams

Nola has had a team longer than Lebron has been in the league.

If you feel the need to root for the best teams to claim championships then do you

I've always been a fan. His skill doesn't come along often and is just fun to watch, especially in big games.

I'm a Pels fan first, but if they aren't gonna win it all, I'd love to see LeBron win one with Cleveland

Dumb post is dumb. Comparing LBJs personality to those 4 is a fricking joke and an insult for everyone involved.

I root against him because his teams are always an obstacle to the hawks advancing in the playoffs

I root for teams, not players. I have no ill will towards James. Best of luck to him except when he plays San Antonio.

I think his point is that at their very best they are all arrogant, self-absorbed individuals, which is common, if not usually a prerequisite, to be elite. At their worst (i.e., MJ and Kobe) they are insufferable and treat others with little to no respect (which also helped make them great). Basically, if you profess to dislike Lebron for those reasons, it would be inconsistent, borderline dishonest, to not feel the same way about the others.

HUH?

Look at Bosh and Wade.

Year one- Wade and LeBron alternate running the offense.they lost the finals because if LeBron has to play off the ball he became disengaged.

Year Two-Four- Wade sacrifices and play's more off the ball. Bosh moves to a stretch 5 in order for Bron to get the ball on the block. Bosh and Wade production and rep goes down while Bron regains the MVP.

Now all of sudden Bosh is putting up Toronto Bosh numbers? Wade capable of 40 point nights?

K-Love and Kyrie do a lot of camping out of the ball now.

Lebron should be cutting, screening and popping more. He should be playing at the elbows, not at the top.

year 1 was by far their worst offense.

I think you are looking at it incorrectly. Raw numbers will generally drop because there are only so mang points that can go around. I think it was Nate Silver's five thirty eight that showed how the efficiency of players improves significantly when playing with Lebron and decreases when not. Sure Bosh's numbers improved but the team performance has decreased. That's why stats like win shares show how valuable a player like Lebron is to his team.

Exactly this is my point. To like those players then claim to hate Lebron for "character" reasons is hilarious

I'm as big a advanced stat advocate as they come here. I'm mostly talking movement.

Just so I'm clear, this isn't LeBron exclusive. Many star players are like this. They'll pound the ball for 10 seconds point to where guys should go, only to break themselves.

I found Chris Paul in New Orleans slightly boring to watch because of this, but he had no other ball handlers.

Allen Iverson's Sixers (with Korver and Iggy) was the most boring team I've ever seen live. It was one dude taking contested mid-range/close jumpers and 4 guys standing around.

As a fan, the ball should be popping. I'm not buying a ticket for one guy just jacking shots. Even if the off chance that they go for 81, the odds of an inefficient night is greater.

A large reason why teams today with great bigs are so fun to watch is because the ball is moving and the team is moving. Look at Bogut and the Warriors, Duncan and the Spurs, Gasol and the Grizz, Horford and the Hawks, even Boogie and the Kings.

That's how the Cavs should play, with Love or Lebron playing the at the elbow.

For the record, Love's lack of rim protection is problem as far as being the perfect teammate for LeBron, as was stated this summer. I also think LeBron's best position is Power Forward.

The Perfect Big Man Pairing is probably Marc Gasol.

How many rings would Bosh/Wade have won without LBJ? Thank you.

I agree for several reasons. Continuity wasn't there, they hadn't discovered the small ball lineup yet and both Wade and James were disengaged off the ball, but James especially.

Wade had a lot more experience sharing the touches with better/greater players early in his career (prime Odom and late prime Shaq). LeBron's early time in Cleveland the offense was just him doing work, with the occasional Z post up. There was never any consistent system for the Cavs at that time.

FWIW, Blatt is the type of coach who is going to find something that works.

Wade's won three and Finals MVP. So thank you.
