I have a rule on my Facebook. If I've drank a beer with you or would socialize and drink a beer with you then we can be friends. Otherwise, Nope

Im friends with some of co workers outside of work so I don't see the big deal

It got him fired because he was out for a "doctor's appointment"...
Granted, it's on him of course... He'd forgotten that he was friends with people from work.
I have a strict "no work FB friends" while I'm still employed there. No matter how good of friends we are... After move on? No problem...
