I have a rule on my Facebook. If I've drank a beer with you or would socialize and drink a beer with you then we can be friends. Otherwise, Nope

People like you got the whole "you have to invite all classmates to your party instead of just the ones you like" thing started

Against. I still hang out with some of them, but it's an unspoken rule among all of us.

Im friends with some of co workers outside of work so I don't see the big deal

Now if it was some guy I never spoke to at work, I would probably ignore it

A friend of mine was going to a job interview and had friended several people in his current office. The interview was in Dallas and he checked into the airport.

It got him fired because he was out for a "doctor's appointment"...
Granted, it's on him of course... He'd forgotten that he was friends with people from work.

I have a strict "no work FB friends" while I'm still employed there. No matter how good of friends we are... After move on? No problem...
