Sadly no. The hookers here in Lake Charles are all on Enterprise Blvd and they are slightly more tanned than my preference.

Not a bad idea, but this dude is in a slightly different department than the rest of us. So they can't really help him.

Well shite... you're not giving me much to work with here.

How about you put your hand on your zipper and say "Hey man I've got this weird rash on my junk... can you tell me what this shite is"

Or something I used to do when I didn't want to talk to people... get really close to them. As they're talking just kind of inch closer and closer until you're all up in their personal space. They'll move back a little but you have to keep pressing forward. Eventually it will freak them out and they'll leave.

Can't you just close your office door?

I know. But that's how it is though.

I told him his mistake was letting it get to this point...had he kept boundaries and whatnot, it wouldn't be like this. But he's all Mr. Nice Guy and chit chats it up with them, and now they do it throughout the day and sometimes don't leave for a while.

I'm good at it as well. Problem is, he has a phone with caller ID on it and says when I call, my name shows up on it. I tell him they aren't close enough to tell (or care) who is calling. I told him all I can do is make the call and it's up to him to sell it and make it believable.

He could, but I guarantee you they would still walk in. And if so, I feel like them in a closed door setting would make them even less likely to leave.

One just walked in again.

And they've both since left his office, and are now back in there again.

Although this time it is because we just found out we get to leave at noon. But still, no shite, they've been to his office no fewer than 7 times today.

That's odd and I wouldn't be ok with that without knocking. Are these people your/his subordinates?

Might be time to pull these cats aside and teach them some office do's and donts.

That sounds terrible. I close my door and no one really comes into my office. Every once in a while this one guy comes in, but it's usually a short convo about work and he's gone. Most people probably think I'm not there when my door is closed.

I'm not saying they wouldn't knock. I'm saying that the door being closed wouldn't stop them from wanting to chat with him...and once they got past the closed door and were in there, it's even more of a chance of them staying longer.

He is in a different section than us, so they aren't under him. One of the dudes is my employee and the other one is not (he's basically a manager). And it's not something serious enough to warrant a "talking to" or something like that. Like I said, I think it's just so bad this week because it is a holiday week and they are antsy ( ) and bored. While it does happen on the reg, it's not normally as bad as it has been the last few days.

I agree with you, and that's along the lines of what I would do (had I not already set the tone that I don't want to chat).
